Safeguarding eLearning Courses

Are you a carer?  Do you volunteer in a lunch club?  Do you look after a relative at home?  Sandwell Safeguarding Adults Board now have electronic learning where you can find out how to recognise and respond to any abuse that is experienced or witnessed. This free package of courses is tailored for all people working with vulnerable adults in Sandwell and consists of:

  • Awareness Raising of Safeguarding Adults

  • Introduction to the Mental Capacity Act

  • The Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards

  • Dignity and Respect

  • Introduction to Forced Marriage 

  • The Impact of Hate Crime 

You can flexibly access the zone any time at your convenience, available from any computer via the internet.

You  don’t have to complete each module all in one go – learn at your own pace; you choose what’s right for your learning style and when you have completed the module you can produce your own learning certificate.
